Scope of Works

Exterior Restoration
• Partial demolition to remove unsympathetic additions and improve the overall proportions of the home
• Full restoration of the original Burgundy stone façade
• Existing stone carefully cleaned, exposed and repointed using traditional lime mortar techniques to preserve breathability and authenticity
• New high-performance windows and upgraded thermal envelope to improve energy efficiency while respecting the original character

Services Upgrade
• Complete new electrical installation throughout
• New plumbing and hydraulic systems
• Energy-efficient heating and hot water systems
• Integrated underfloor heating for improved thermal comfort

Interior Transformation
• Removal of internal plasterboard and plaster wall linings to reveal the original Burgundy stone construction
• Internal stone walls restored and repointed to become a feature throughout the living spaces
• New plaster finishes applied selectively to maintain softness and light while celebrating the original fabric of the building
• Reconfiguration of spaces to create an open kitchen, living and dining environment

Kitchen + Living
• Existing enclosed rooms opened to form a connected living space
• Original Burgundy stone walls exposed and restored
• New Burgundy stone flooring installed throughout with hydronic underfloor heating beneath
• Natural materials and warm contemporary detailing to complement the historic structure
