About Maria
I’m an Interior Designer and business owner with more than 40 years of experience creating places where people feel welcome. My career has taken me from leading award-winning hospitality businesses to renovating homes in Australia and France, experiences that continue to shape the way I approach every project.
Today, through Bortolotto Interiors, I work with clients from concept to completion, combining thoughtful design, technical knowledge and careful planning to create homes that are functional, timeless and built to last.
My work spans heritage renovations, warehouse conversions, contemporary homes and sustainable residential design. Every project begins with understanding the building, its context and the people who live in it.
I believe good design is never about following trends. It is about creating homes that improve the way people live, respect their surroundings and continue to perform beautifully for years to come.
